Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler for the Weekend 1st Shift (Friday - Monday, 7:00am - 6:00pm). You will move material and inventory, operate hand trucks and conveyors, and support daily warehouse operations to keep processes running smoothly.

The role requires at least 18 years old, basic math, and the ability to read safety rules. Preferably 1 year in a warehouse with a handheld scanner. Flexibility for overtime and strong teamwork are valued at GXO.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Able to perform basic math.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents.
1 year of experience in a warehouse environment (preferred).
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed.
Experience using a handheld scanner.
Positive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

Move material and inventory throughout the facility.
Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment.
Perform duties that may include packing, scanning, kitting or counting products.
Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner.
Adhere to the 7S program.
Maintain a clean environment at all times.
Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members.
