Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is hiring a Material Handler to support operations by moving materials and inventory throughout the facility. You will use hand trucks, conveyors, and other equipment to prepare, label and count products, while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and supporting a 7S program.

Requirements include at least 18 years old, basic math, ability to read safety rules, and 1 year in a warehouse. Flexible schedule with possible overtime is a plus; lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand/sit for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Move material and inventory throughout the facility to support operations.
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment.
• Pack, scan, kit or count products as needed.
• Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner.
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean work area.
• Work safely to protect yourself and teammates.
