Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is hiring a Material Handler for the 1st shift to move, load, and unload glass and metal products within the plant. You will rotate through IG processes to keep production moving safely and efficiently, reporting to the Production Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in production or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift and work around an overhead crane.
• Basic reading, communication, and math skills.
• Dependability with regular attendance and punctuality.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Move glass and metal products safely through the plant.
• Operate forklifts and navigate around overhead cranes.
• Transport and rotate materials through laminating processes.
• Read work orders and follow safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Inspect products for quality and measurements.
• Label products and paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a clean work area and report issues.
