Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Material Handler 2 to move material including glass and metal within the plant. Reports to Production Supervisor and supports efficient product flow from staging to shipping. Starting pay is $22 per hour.

Ideal candidates have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and problem-solving skills, with ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand 8–10 hours, and work in a facility with variable climate conditions.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in safety, quality and production.
• Reliable, strong work ethic with ability to work overtime when required.
• Resourceful problem solver in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• On/off-loading the product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates.
• Reads work orders and follows job standards for safety, quality and production.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
• Read and interpret basic mathematical measurements while effectively using a tape measure.
