Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a Forklift Operator in Hagerstown, MD to move pallets and support production across the warehouse. You will operate Relogistics forklift equipment, sort pallets by hand when required, and assist with pallet repair while following safety procedures.

This 2nd shift opportunity pays $17.50 per hour and requires a High School diploma or GED, forklift certification (preferred), and 1-3 years of forklift experience; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• 1-3 years of forklift experience.
• Previous experience in warehouse/logistics preferred.
• Willingness to work in a labor-intensive environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment.
• Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times.
• Hand-sorting wooden pallets when required.
• Repairing wooden pallets using a nail gun when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
