Job summary

Bimstore is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift in Mitchell, SD. You will unload shipments, document and sort parts, maintain inventory, and prepare weekly outbound shipments for Midwest distribution.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years manufacturing experience, a valid driver's license, forklift certification, and basic computer skills to use SAP for locating and tracking inventory. English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment; receiving experience is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and forklift certification.
• Strong English reading/writing; ability to follow work orders and communicate with the team.
• Ability to use computers and learn SAP to locate and track parts.
• Organized, able to multitask and maintain accurate records.
• Maintains a clean driving record for occasional truck operation.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials, review packing slips, and maintain accurate records.
• Unload incoming trucks, sort parts, and place materials on the welding line.
• Prepare and load weekly Midwest shipments; confirm shipping and delivery reports.
• Use SAP to locate, retrieve, and track inventory.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and notify Purchasing when replenishment is needed.
• Assist other Material Handlers as needed.
• Report issues to the Supervisor immediately.
• Follow environmental, safety, and company policies.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
