Job summary

Lockheed Martin seeks a material processor in Orlando for the 2nd shift. You will troubleshoot and expedite the flow of work, materials, parts, tools, supplies and related documentation across manufacturing areas where expediting has failed.

Responsibilities include investigating delays, coordinating material searches, and maintaining tool control records. Must be a US citizen able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance; strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• US citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Ability to work 1st/2nd/3rd shift per bargaining agreement.
• Strong computer skills, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational and tracking abilities.
• Ability to read and understand BOMs.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Investigates delays or discrepancies to resolve problems and prevent recurrences.
• Directs material searches and inventory of parts, tools, and supplies.
• Enter production control data and manage tool storage and issuance.
• Respond to requests for locating standard tools and issue to authorized staff.
• Maintain and update tool control records and perform audits.
• Determine need for new or replacement tools and participate in audits.
