Job summary

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets blueprints, specifications and shop orders.
• Ability to read a scale and vernier calipers.
• Knowledge of CNC software and PC use.
• Forklift license may be required in some departments.
• One year certificate or 3–6 months related experience expected.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate metal fabricating machines (brakes, shears, presses).
• Inspect, measure and document deviations; ensure parts meet specs.
• Position tooling, clamps, and fixtures; adjust ram, blade, and speed.
• Train new or existing employees on procedures and safety.
• Maintain PPE usage and report injuries or unsafe conditions.
