Xylem is seeking a Training Specialist at the Morton Grove site to support implementation and ongoing execution of employee training programs. You will partner with site leadership, SMEs, and manufacturing staff to deploy training plans that ensure employees have the knowledge and skills to perform safely and efficiently.

The role involves delivering classroom, hands-on, and On-the-Job Training, maintaining training records, and continuously improving training processes through feedback and data

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as industrial engineering, manufacturing technology, educational technology, or adult education.
• Experience in developing and delivering technical and safety training in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety/quality standards.
• Strong communication and ability to explain technical info to non-technical staff.
• Proficiency with Office Suite and general IT skills.
• Ability to build relationships and negotiate with stakeholders.
• Analytical, troubleshooting, and influence skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support the site's established training plan and ensure activities are completed on schedule.
• Coordinate training with supervisors, SMEs, and functional partners for onboarding and cross-training.
• Create and maintain training modules, materials, and assessments with SMEs.
• Deliver classroom, hands-on, and OJT training to manufacturing employees.
• Track participation, completion, qualifications, and training requirements.
• Monitor training fulfillment and communicate overdue or incomplete training.
• Support onboarding and qualification activities for new hires.
• Observe and evaluate training to determine effectiveness.
• Collect and analyze training data to improve programs.
• Standardize training content and delivery across departments.
• Update training materials as processes or requirements change.
• Promote culture of continuous learning, safety, quality, and excellence.
• Participate in training-related projects and improvement initiatives.
