Xylem Morton Grove is seeking a Training Specialist to support and coordinate employee training programs. You will work with site leaders, SMEs, and teams to implement training plans, deliver sessions, and maintain training records.

The role focuses on safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and experience building and delivering technical and safety training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as industrial engineering, manufacturing technology, educational technology, or adult education.
• Experience in developing and delivering technical and safety training programs in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with Office Suite and standard training tools.

Responsabilités

• Support the site training plan and ensure activities follow priorities and schedules.
• Coordinate onboarding, qualification, cross-training, and ongoing development with supervisors and SMEs.
• Develop, revise, and maintain training modules, materials, and job aids with SMEs.
• Deliver classroom, hands-on, and OJT training to manufacturing employees.
• Track participation, completion, qualifications, and training requirements.
• Identify gaps, monitor training effectiveness, and suggest improvements.
• Standardize training content and delivery across departments.
• Assist with updates when processes or work instructions change.
