Job summary

RBC Bearings Incorporated is seeking a Manufacturing Tech I for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:30 pm - 2:00 am) to process components through the liner process. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to drawings and procedures, with responsibilities including setting up machinery, reading blueprints, and maintaining production logs.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, English literacy, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and be able to work overtime with good

Qualifications

• High School education or GED required.
• Must read and write English.
• Must follow detailed instructions, do accurate work at a rapid pace and meet scheduling deadlines.
• Manual dexterity and the ability to carry out complex, repetitive tasks quickly and methodically.
• Available to work overtime as required.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to bend, squat, sit, stand, walk, and handle objects. The employee is occasionally required to push/pull and reach above shoulder level. The employee must be able to carry/lift up to 40 pounds and be able to rotate item being handled.
• Work on feet for entire shift.
• ITAR/EAR compliance eligibility: U.S. citizen or legal status to work on ITAR programs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery in support of the production process.
• Process components through the liner process per specifications.
• Read drawings/prints and documented procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
• Complete daily production logs and required maintenance checks.
• Comply with internal quality systems and procedures.
• Demonstrate safety as a daily foundation and communicate effectively with the team.
