Job summary

RBC Bearings Incorporated is seeking a Manufacturing Tech I at Sargent Aerospace & Defense to process components through the liner process. You will set up and operate machinery, read blueprints, and maintain quality while supporting safe, efficient production.

The role requires reading and writing English, following detailed instructions, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Overtime may be required, and safety is the priority in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED required.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must follow detailed instructions, do accurate work at a rapid pace and meet scheduling deadlines.
• Manual dexterity and the ability to carry out complex, repetitive tasks quickly and methodically.
• Available to work overtime as required.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to bend, squat, sit, stand, walk, and handle objects.
• The employee must be able to carry/lift up to 40 pounds and be able to rotate item being handled.
• Work on feet for entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery in support of the production process.
• Perform operations per specifications on drawing/print and documented procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Complete daily production logs and maintenance checks.
• Comply with internal quality systems and procedures.
• Uphold safety as the foundation of daily work.
• Read blueprints/engineering drawings to guide work.
