Sensical Inc. in Solon, Ohio is seeking a dependable, hands-on Team Lead for the 2nd shift to keep our production floor running safely and on schedule.

You will lead, coach, and support a team of 20+ employees including temporary workers, working closely with the Production Supervisor to maintain daily workflow and quality. The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Team Lead or manufacturing leadership experience.
• Compression molding experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of 20+ full-time and temporary employees.
• Set the standard for safety, quality, cleanliness, and organization on the production floor.
• Communicate daily priorities, assignments, and production expectations to the team.
• Monitor workflow and team performance throughout the shift.
• Train and assist with onboarding new employees to ensure they understand their responsibilities and expectations.
• Coach employees on daily performance, attendance, safety, quality, and work practices.
• Communicate employee concerns, production issues, and performance updates to management.
• Support the Production Supervisor with daily staffing and production needs.
• Help identify and resolve issues that may affect production, quality, safety, or efficiency.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and accountable team environment.
• Lead by example and maintain a hands-on presence on the production floor.
