Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company seeks a Team Lead for the 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) in Hunt Valley, MD. The role leads daily operation support, sets up and troubleshoots highly automated equipment, and ensures GMP-compliant quality control and documentation.

You will guide a production team, perform root-cause analysis, and assist in planning, while coaching associates and managing workflow to meet BD objectives.

Qualifications

• High school degree with 6 years manufacturing experience in Food, Pharma and Industrial production settings.
• AA technical degree with 3 years experience.
• Must be proficient in English with the ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation support and guidance and work closely with supervisor on escalated issues.
• Operate and maintain automated production equipment, including setup and routine inspections.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for process or product exceptions and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor quality and maintain documentation for safety, GMP, and maintenance records.
• Provide training and coaching to associates and support on special projects.
