Job summary

BD is a leading global medical technology company. The Shift Leader will oversee 3rd shift manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient production under FDA, GMP, and ISO 13485 requirements.

The role serves as first-line leader for manufacturing teams, driving safety, quality, delivery, and productivity while fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and BD culture across 30+ direct reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience in medical device/pharma or FDA/GMP environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day production activities to meet schedules and customer requirements.
• Monitor safety, quality, delivery, and productivity metrics.
• Ensure staffing levels align with operational requirements and effective shift handoffs.
• Drive production targets while maintaining product quality and regulatory compliance.
• Coach and develop production associates and team leads to sustain BD culture and high performance.
