Job summary

BD, located in Hunt Valley, MD, seeks a Team Lead for 2nd shift to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations and to guide a team working with highly automated equipment. You will ensure quality, maintain documentation, and resolve complex process issues in a regulated environment.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership, troubleshooting, and documentation skills, with experience in GMP and FDA-regulated settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 6 years manufacturing experience in regulated environments (FDA).
• AA technical degree with 3 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Team lead is the point person for day-to-day operation support and guidance and works closely with supervisor on issues that need to be escalated.
• Work within standards and operating procedures to plan, perform, and make decisions regarding the set up and operations of production equipment.
• Responsible for complex troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Identifies the need for minor equipment repairs.
• Conducts root‑cause analysis activities for process or product exceptions.
