Job summary

G&W Electric is hiring a Team Lead II on 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:30pm) in Bolingbrook, Illinois. You will lead manufacturing operations, assign work, ensure safety and quality, and drive on-time production in a dynamic facility.

We seek a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, ability to read drawings, and 4+ years of manufacturing experience. ERP knowledge and MS Office skills are desirable as you coordinate a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to supervise and coordinate diverse tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and schematics.
• Intermediate MS Word/Excel skills; ERP experience desirable.
• Understand and apply corrective and preventive actions.
• Four+ years of experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading a team is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing employees within an area of responsibility on various processes.
• Assign work and instruct operators on quality, safety, and housekeeping.
• Ensure materials, tools, and fixtures are available.
• Maintain workflow to ensure on-time completion of production.
• Audit work for quality and confirm procedures are followed.
• Support performance evaluations with supervision.
• Train others in inspection tasks as needed.
• Document production and quality actions with forms.
