G&W Electric is seeking a Team Lead II in Bolingbrook, IL to lead manufacturing employees and manage daily operations. You will assign work, train staff, ensure quality and safety, and coordinate with Engineering on BOM and drawing discrepancies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate department tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, schematics.
• MS Word and Excel skills; ERP experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing employees within an area of responsibility.
• Assign work and instruct operators on techniques, quality and safety procedures.
• Check and arrange for availability of materials, tools and fixtures.
• Perform a variety of direct labor and other functions to maintain on-time completion.
• Audit work to ensure quality and that items meet requirements.
• Evaluate team performance with supervisor support.
• Supervise tasks with the supervisor's support.
• Perform internal process audits and report findings.
• Analyze and report on materials, processes and products that may cause production disruptions.
• Assist with production posting and inventory accuracy within the cell.
• Communicate BOM discrepancies to Engineering.
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
• Train others in inspection tasks as needed.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
