Job summary

Clopay Corporation in Goodyear, AZ, is hiring for a 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead safety, productivity and people development. You will manage daily operations, ensure safety training, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s or associate degree or equivalent experience, plus 3–5 years in supervision and 2+ years in manufacturing. Strong Excel/Office skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience plus 3–5 years in a supervisor/manager role.
• Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with participating or leading continuous improvement projects.
• Ability to solve problems with little direction.
• Proven ability to work with a team as well as lead a team.
• Ability to come in early, stay late or work on weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe work environment in the assigned department and ensure safety training.
• Ensure proper job rotation and maintain housekeeping and safety practices.
• Lead accident/incident investigations for incidents in the department.
• Track and improve line efficiencies; suggest changes to reduce costs.
• Ensure product quality and timely completion of production schedules.
• Enforce company policies and conduct disciplinary actions when needed.
• Lead monthly continuous improvement projects and mentor staff.
• Maintain vacation calendar and resolve conflicts.
• Oversee timekeeping for department employees.
• Conduct monthly departmental meetings and share agenda topics.
• Attend company training to stay updated on management practices.
