Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Cookeville, TN to lead daily production, ensure safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement. You will coach teams, manage schedules, and monitor KPIs to meet delivery goals and customer commitments.

You will partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, HR, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and support new product launches while upholding 6S and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Safety-first mindset with ability to lead and develop teams.
• Plan and direct daily manufacturing activities to meet schedules.
• Use production metrics to drive performance and improvements.
• Proficient in English communication and reporting.
• Experience with assembly or molding processes preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing systems and standard software.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop production employees to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Plan daily manufacturing activities to align with production schedules and customer demands.
• Monitor labor utilization, staffing, attendance, and performance.
• Provide coaching, feedback, recognition, and corrective action as needed.
• Conduct shift-start meetings and communicate updates.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, HR, and Supply Chain to resolve issues.
• Drive continuous improvement focusing on safety, cost, quality, and efficiency.
• Use KPIs to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain 6S standards and a clean, organized workplace.
• Support training, cross-training, and succession planning.
• Investigate issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Assist with new product launches and process improvements.
