Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead daily production activities in a fast-paced environment. You will guide a team to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals while ensuring adherence to 6S standards.

You will collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, HR, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement. Strong leadership and data-driven decision making are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet production schedules and customer demands.
• Coach and develop production employees to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Plan and direct daily manufacturing activities to meet production schedules and customer demands.
• Monitor labor utilization, staffing levels, attendance, and overall workforce performance.
• Provide timely coaching, performance feedback, recognition, and corrective action when necessary.
• Conduct shift-start meetings and communicate key business, safety, quality, and production updates.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Human Resources, and Supply Chain teams to resolve operational challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, and efficiency.
• Utilize production metrics and KPIs to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Support employee training, cross-training, and succession planning efforts.
• Investigate production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment aligned with 6S standards.
• Support new product launches, process improvements, and operational initiatives.
• Ability to work overtime or adjust schedules as business needs require.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
