Job summary

Catalent’s Kansas City facility seeks an Operations Zone Manager - Second Shift to lead a team of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technicians, ensuring products are produced with the right quality, cost, and timing while maintaining strict cGMP compliance.

You will collaborate across Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance to optimize schedules, resolve workflow and technical issues, oversee staffing decisions, training, and batch records, and report progress to management to keep projects

Qualifications

• Minimum of leadership or supervisory experience in pharma manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA guidelines and QA processes.
• Ability to manage priorities and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technicians within the assigned zone.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Maintenance, and QA to optimize schedules.
• Oversee daily performance against standards and resolve issues.
• Make staffing, wage, and performance decisions per policy and compliance.
• Ensure 24/7 operations readiness and accurate batch records.
• Implement corrective/preventive actions in response to audits.
