Catalent’s Kansas City facility seeks a Manager, Manufacturing Operations - 2nd shift to lead second-shift cGMP manufacturing, ensuring quality products are produced on time and in full compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

You will oversee front-line Supervisors, drive safety, quality, delivery, cost and engagement, and make real-time operational decisions on the shift, including weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience leading front-line supervisors or people leaders.
• 7+ years in regulated manufacturing (pharma/biotech/CDMO) with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, batch records, CAPA, and Operations-Quality partnership.
• Lean manufacturing, structured problem solving, data-driven performance management.
• Business acumen on labor efficiency, yield, capacity, and cost drivers.

Aufgaben

• Lead all second-shift manufacturing activities to meet daily production commitments.
• Act as senior operations decision-maker on shift; resolve workflow and equipment issues.
• Ensure shift handoffs, communication, and continuity of issues and priorities.
• Support 24/7 operations and weekend coverage as needed.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, OSHA, environmental, and safety standards.
