You will supervise 2nd shift activities, coach staff, and drive lean initiatives while ensuring safety and meeting production goals. Strong communication and blueprint-reading abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a production team.
• Hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced, evolving settings.
• Strong background in continuous improvement and the ability to apply concepts.
• Able to navigate personalities, drive accountability, and promote open communication.
• Supervisory experience with coaching, directing and motivating a diverse group.
• May require in-depth ability to read, interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Advanced ability to solve practical problems and production challenges.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate manufacturing activities during the 2nd shift.
• Train, cross-train, coach and develop the team.
• Support continuous improvement through lean methods and 5S.
• Back up for the team leads.
• Communicate department goals to all team members.
• Address employee issues and resolve conflicts with managers.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, work orders, and specs.
• Complete performance reviews for the 2nd shift team.
