Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to oversee multiple production phases and ensure on-time delivery. You will prioritize in-house work orders using our MRP system, support forecasts, and ensure capacity aligns with demand.

The role requires 5+ years of production supervisory experience, lean manufacturing knowledge, and strong communication. You will partner with HR, Engineering, and Management to drive continuous improvement and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years production experience.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Experience with production scheduling.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
• Experience with inventory costing concepts.
• Understanding of the Pareto principle.

Responsibilities

• Schedule work orders for daily production requirements for various work cells.
• Maintain production staff hours and schedules including logging attendance.
• Coordinate with HR on staffing needs including temp employees.
• Provide performance feedback to Supervisors and Managers.
• Train new Production Team Leads.
• Communicate with Production Manager and Engineering on equipment/process issues.
• Adhere to safety standards including PPE and OSHA guidelines.
• Oversee and improve One-Piece Flow and lean initiatives.
• Develop KPI and visual management tools for the floor.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual forecast.
