Job summary

Alliance Laundry Systems LLC in Ripon, WI is seeking a first-line leader for the 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 3:00 pm–1:00 am) to coordinate daily work, protect quality, and ensure safe operations. You will drive safety, coach team members, and partner with technical staff to sustain flow and continuous improvement.

You will mentor staff in safety protocols, 5S, and lean methods, align resources, and support kaizen initiatives while tracking performance against metrics.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a medium/high-volume manufacturing environment with a strong safety focus.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Champion a safety-first culture—model safe behavior and drive safety awareness.
• Teach, train, and motivate Team Members on safety protocols and procedures; ensure respectful interactions.
• Cultivate continuous improvement—empower team members to contribute ideas, participate in kaizen, and strengthen 5S.
• Coach and mentor for safety and productivity; build skill depth to support lean operations and waste reduction.
• Coordinate with technical staff to secure timely support and maintain flow.
• Set and pursue annual goals aligned to operating metrics; track progress and course-correct.
• Continuously improve processes to reduce inventory and work-in-process while protecting throughput.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations; collaborate with Union Stewards on contract and discipline issues.
