Job summary

Alliance Laundry Systems in Ripon, Wisconsin, is seeking a Team Lead to guide a production team of 8-12 members with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with the Group Leader, lead pre-shift meetings, train new staff, and uphold standard work and KPIs across the area.

Responsibilities include coaching, resolving conflicts, ensuring PPE compliance, maintaining hourly boards, and using SAP to optimize manufacturing processes; a strong people-centric

Qualifications

• Prior experience leading others in a work or volunteer capacity.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Heart for servant leadership and people-centric mentality.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven leadership capabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assimilate and train new team members within their area, serving as the point of contact for new additions.
• Lead daily pre-shift meetings to update the team on safety, quality, HR, and production goals.
• Ensure all team members follow safety procedures and obtain proper PPE when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to generate and support ideas for continuous improvement, and maintain a mindset of continuous improvement in all activities.
• Escalate any production issues or systemic problems to the Group Leader.
• Maintain communication from shift to shift with other Team Leads and Leaders.
• Update and maintain KPIs and other metrics for the area/zone.
• Create, maintain, and audit Team Member Standard Work.
• Be responsible for completing Hour by Hour Boards, 5S Audits, Dupont Stop Observations, and work stacks.
• Ability to navigate conflict and reach resolution through coaching and support from the Group and Area Leaders.
• Utilize SAP to aid in the manufacturing process.
• Perform other duties as required.
