Job summary

Paycom - ATS Richmond facility is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and tooling. The role requires reading mechanical drawings and basic machining work to support production operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience, with good English communication skills.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 3 years work experience or formal training in machine troubleshooting and repair, facilities maintenance.
English language skills - must communicate well with others.

Responsibilities

Performs preventive maintenance on equipment per instructions and schedule.
Cleans and lubricates bearings, gears and other components on equipment and tooling.
Troubleshoots mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to locate and repair faults.
Troubleshoots tooling to determine actions required to repair tools.
Dismantles and reparis equipment/tooling components as needed.
Inspects components to detect wear or misalignment and measures to verify issues.
Operates basic machining tools to make or repair parts as required.
Installs new piping, tubing and conduit to replace damaged ones.
Repairs and maintains facility structures.
