Stanley Black & Decker in Elyria, OH is hiring a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift (3pm-11pm). The role offers a base pay of $38.02 per hour plus a $1.25 shift differential and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will assemble, repair, and overhaul machines, perform bench and machining work, and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and hands-on tool experience.

Qualifications

• You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• You have prior assembly experience preferred.
• You have experience with hand and power tools preferred.
• You can stand and walk for most of an 8–10 hour day in a manufacturing environment.
• You can bend/lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 200 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, repair, rebuild, or overhaul machines in the shop.
• Rebuild, repair or install parts in machine components.
• Diagnose and remedy minor electrical trouble.
• Perform bench and machining operations on various parts.
• Maintain close tolerances.
• Operate lathes, grinders, milling machines, and other shop equipment.
• Transport hazardous material within company property.
• Adhere to preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain high quality on work performed.
• May perform simple carpentry and painting tasks.
