Job summary

Garelick Farms in North Carolina seeks a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment operating safely and efficiently. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on manufacturing machinery, read schematics, install new equipment, and support operators.

This role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, experience with PLC/HMI, welding, refrigeration (ammonia preferred), and the ability to work with limited supervision on a rotating schedule

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade/technical schooling preferred in electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, etc.
• 2–4 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment and related systems according to safety procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to assess reliability and performance.
• Read and interpret technical procedures, schematics, and work orders.
