Job summary

Signode is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Greer, SC to keep production running safely and efficiently. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and support safety programs.

The role requires 1–3 years of industrial maintenance, knowledge of PLCs and drives, welding skills, and forklift experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret gauges and instruments related to product quality and repair.
• Knowledge of PLCs and drives; welding experience (MIG/arc) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment in a timely, cost-effective manner.
• Maintain production machines and facility equipment.
• Inspect equipment during preventative maintenance.
• Complete work orders and update maintenance tracking system.
• Identify and correct electrical issues through knowledge of drives and PLCs.
• Ensure machine productivity and quality after repairs.
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Communicate issues with group leaders/maintenance manager.
