Job summary

ID Logistics is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Ruskin, Florida to inspect, troubleshoot and repair a range of packaging equipment. The role requires PLCs, HMIs and motor drives expertise, along with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge and adherence to OSHA and GMPs.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, fault finding, and documentation in the CMMS. Typical duties span utilities such as pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyors; forklift operation may be needed, with a 2nd

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 3+ years in Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing/Production, in the Food and Beverage Industry.
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
• Experience with multi phases of electricity from 24VDC up to 480VAC 3-phase.
• Knowledge of HMIs, AC, DC motor drives, and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Regular inspection, troubleshooting and repairs of electrical and mechanical production equipment throughout the facility.
• Detecting malfunctions and defects in electrical and mechanical systems on all automation equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA and corporate policies; report noncompliance when observed.
• Use CMMS to track PMs, work orders, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Operate safely and efficiently, capable of working independently or in a group.
