Job summary

Molex is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Saint Petersburg, Florida area. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs.

The 2nd shift runs Monday through Thursday from 4:00pm to 2:30am. The candidate will participate in reactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance, lead improvement projects, and train technicians.

Qualifications

• Two or more years in electro-mechanical maintenance.
• Experience in industrial preventive maintenance (motors, gearboxes, pneumatics, sensors, VFDs, bearings, etc.).
• Experience interpreting electrical schematics, manuals, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Perform reactive, preventative, and predictive maintenance to support production equipment.
• Lead Technical and Process Improvement Projects.
• Analyze production data, identify trends, and offer recommendations for improvement.
• Create, maintain, and improve documentation related to equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Provide design input on custom fabricated equipment and equipment parts.
• Train Technicians and Machine Operators.
