Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift (12 p.m. – 8 p.m.).

You will install and troubleshoot electrical systems, service conveyors and robotics, and perform preventative maintenance on packaging equipment to keep lines running smoothly. Qualified candidates have 5 years of maintenance experience, PLC knowledge, and be able to read schematics, operate lifts, and work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 5 years’ experience in packaging and equipment maintenance with emphasis on electrical installation and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with conveyors, robotics, and packaging equipment preferred.
• Certifications in electrical/mechanical areas preferred.
• Experience operating boom and scissor lifts required.

Responsibilities

• Install machines and run control wiring.
• Troubleshoot PLCs (not programming) and anchoring equipment.
• Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate conductors.
• Maintain and rebuild conveyors, robotics, and packaging equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance duties.
