Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America, Seattle Plant (Algona, WA), seeks a Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment. This is a multi-craft role with on-the-job training and a 3-shift production schedule.

The starting pay ranges from $28.07 to $41.36 hourly, with shift differential and a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Read and write in English.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work 2ND shift.
• 2+ Years’ experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Must provide own tools. PCA will provide specialized tools.
• A Technical Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Trades is a plus.
• Experience in the Corrugated Packaging or Printing Industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• This position is based at the PCA Seattle Plant located in Algona, Washington.
• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, or replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
• Work as part of a team to safely perform Preventive Maintenance Activities and respond to breakdowns in a Production Environment.
• All Maintenance Technician positions are multi-craft, with training provided to develop skills.
• The production schedule is 3 shifts; shifts assigned by plant needs and seniority; opportunities to change shifts exist.
