Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our Reading, PA plant. This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on site, while maintaining safety and teamwork in a production environment.

We operate on a three-shift schedule; candidates must be available for 2nd or 3rd shifts. The pay range reflects mechanical and electrical skills, with comprehensive benefits and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Technical degree in mechanical or electrical trades is a plus.
• Production schedule is 3 shifts; be prepared to work 2nd or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, or replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
• Work as part of a team to perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns.
• Maintenance technicians are multicraft and receive training to develop skills.
