Job summary

Aerotek in Wooster, OH is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift (3:30pm-1:00am) or 3rd shift. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems on production machines to ensure uptime.

Requirements include 4+ years in electrical/mechanical maintenance, ability to read blueprints, and familiarity with PLC/automation. Work involves lifting 30-50 lbs, PPE, and 40-55 hour weeks onsite.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Basic PLC and automation troubleshooting.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with motors, motor controls, sensors, switches, photo eyes, VFDs and automated systems.
• Servo systems, machine vision and robotics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair to install and maintain production machines.
• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Read blueprints, equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities.
• Utilize hand and power tools, meters and material handling equipment.
