Accelera Staffing in Northbrook, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift at our metal fabrication plant that makes dental instruments. You will perform routine preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults autonomously.

The role emphasizes fast, hands-on problem solving, safety, and collaboration with production teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/industrial maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with upkeep and repair of industrial machinery.
• Self-directed work ethic in fast-paced environments.

Responsabilités

• Execute routine preventative and reactive maintenance on all production machinery.
• Minimize downtime by diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Respond quickly to facility breakdowns and urgent maintenance requests.
• Analyze malfunctions to determine effective repair or adjustment strategies.
• Perform direct repairs, tune machinery, and replace components as needed.
• Inspect systems to detect and resolve maintenance issues before they disrupt production.
• Collaborate with production teams to prioritize equipment needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all safety protocols.
• Record tasks and provide updates on equipment status to the team.
• Complete additional maintenance tasks as directed by management.
