Role Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team for the 2nd shift. You will provide essential technical support at our Northbrook, IL metal fabrication plant, which specializes in producing dental instruments. We need a proactive professional with a background in industrial or manufacturing maintenance who excels at mechanical and electrical diagnostics and can manage equipment needs autonomously.

Employment Details:

This is a full-time position offering a pay range of $30.00 to $35.00 per hour. The schedule is set for the 2nd shift, operating Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

• Proactively inspect systems to detect and resolve maintenance concerns before they disrupt production schedules.
• Collaborate with production teams and maintenance staff to ensure equipment priorities are addressed.
• Maintain a secure and orderly workspace while strictly adhering to all established safety protocols.
• Record maintenance tasks and provide clear updates on equipment status to relevant team members.
• Complete additional maintenance-related tasks as directed by management.

Required Qualifications:

• Prior experience within a manufacturing or industrial maintenance setting is preferred.
• Advanced aptitude for troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical systems.
• Practical experience in the upkeep and repair of industrial-grade machinery.
• Proven ability to evaluate technical problems and provide immediate solutions to keep operations running.
• Self-directed work ethic with the ability to operate independently.
• Capacity to thrive and contribute effectively within a high-speed manufacturing setting.
