Job summary

Precision Resource, Inc. seeks an Equipment Maintenance Technician for our Vernon Hills, IL manufacturing division. The role focuses on preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems to ensure proper operation of all production equipment.

Responsibilities include scheduled maintenance, repair of large presses and production equipment, and documentation. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of maintenance experience, basic blueprint reading, and a

Qualifications

• 2+ years in manufacturing equipment maintenance with basic blueprint reading.
• Mechatronics degree/experience ideal.
• Hydraulic and mechanical repair and troubleshooting required; electrical helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery including parts replacement.
• Repair and maintain large presses and production equipment.
• Maintain pumps, HVAC, tumblers and sanding equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic issues.
• Document daily production equipment information and maintain records.
• Assist and train others; participate in continuous improvement teams.
