Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide hands-on maintenance of production lines and facility equipment. The role supports the Maintenance Supervisor and may require training on 1st shift for a period.

You will work 2nd shift from 3:30PM to 12:00AM, Mon–Fri, with potential flexible days. Wages are $25–$35 per hour. The position emphasizes preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and collaboration with line operators.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work 2nd shift Mon-Fri, with on-call and weekend rotations.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production lines, such as replacing belts, cleaning and repairing filling heads, and troubleshooting performance issues.
• Follow established preventive maintenance schedules and support routine maintenance.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
• Record maintenance repairs and issues as needed.
• Ensure all safety and work procedures are followed.
• Maintain building/facility needs including painting, cleaning, and fire/safety equipment upkeep.
• Assist in providing training for line operators and shift leads on basic maintenance tasks and machine settings.
• Document and analyze trends of scheduled and unscheduled downtime.
• Help develop written maintenance-related SOPs.
