Job summary

PepsiCo Dayville location is hiring a full‑time maintenance technician for the 2nd shift (Tue–Sat, 4:00 pm–12:30 am). You will troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, diagnose AC/DC electrical systems, and support equipment reliability through preventative maintenance and work orders.

The role requires lifting 15–50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in extreme temperatures and noisy environments.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• Required to work on weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without accommodation.
• Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Willing and able to work in an environment that has extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and pumps.
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and electrical testing equipment.
• Use preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking to support equipment reliability.
• Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, identify needed repairs, and take corrective action.
• Apply multi-craft maintenance skills to help maximize equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and safety.
