Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a maintenance technician in Dayville, CT for the 2nd shift (4:00 pm–12:30 am) on Tue–Sat. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment to keep production running safely.

The role requires lifting 15–50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in harsh environments with extreme temperatures and loud equipment. Applicants should be comfortable climbing, bending, reaching, kneeling, and working extended shifts while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Required to work on weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift 15–50 pounds with/without accommodation.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch.
• Willing to work in environments with extreme temps, humidity, loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, valves, and pumps.
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and testing equipment.
• Use preventive maintenance systems and work orders to support reliability.
• Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, identify repairs, and take corrective action.
• Apply multi-craft maintenance to maximize efficiency, safety, and uptime.
