Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Johnstown, PA is seeking a maintenance technician to keep production lines running by maintaining and repairing advanced equipment, ensuring brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina reach communities safely and reliably.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, troubleshoot electrical/mechanical systems, support changes and upgrades, and coordinate with contractors. A rotating shift is involved and pay is $30.35 per hour.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Pass a technical assessment.
• Experience with electrical systems, product manuals and mechanical drawings, schematics.
• Must read/write/speak English due to safety.
• Work near heat, noise, gas and chemicals.
• Frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, bending and kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions and complete complex repairs to restore operation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems to resolve recurring issues.
• Support package changeovers and equipment upgrades.
• Coordinate outside contractors on assigned lines when needed.
• Enforce GMP, safety and audit standards; maintain housekeeping.
• Document work schedules and tasks; partner with operators and quality teams to drive efficiency.
