Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to keep production lines running by maintaining and repairing advanced equipment.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and implement repairs to ensure safe, reliable operation of beverage production lines in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires reading and interpreting manuals and schematics, working near heat and chemicals, and coordinating with contractors.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
English reading/writing/speaking required due to safety sensitivity.
Experience with electrical systems, product manuals and mechanical drawings, schematics, and troubleshooting breakdowns.
Position involves working near heat, noise, gas and chemicals and requires physical endurance.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on advanced production equipment.
Diagnose malfunctions and complete complex repairs to restore safe operation.
Conduct breakdown analysis and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
Support changeovers and equipment upgrades using new or upgraded technology.
Coordinate outside contractors on assigned lines as needed.
Enforce GMP, safety and audit standards while maintaining housekeeping.
Document work schedules and tasks; collaborate with operators and quality teams to improve efficiency.
