Job summary

Amentum is seeking a 2nd shift General Maintenance Technician to join our team in Davenport, IA. The role focuses on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance for a large industrial facility including clean rooms, and responding to work orders.

Shift is 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm with potential weekend hours for 24/7 operation. Requires self-motivation and ability to diagnose and repair industrial equipment; a valid Driver’s License may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of maintenance experience in HVAC/industrial mechanical or automotive repair.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs blowers and fans.
• Takes on preventive maintenance tasks per CMMS and safety guidelines.
• Repairs overhead and roll-up doors, gates and related components.
• Diagnoses equipment issues and implements corrective actions.
• Ensures compliance with codes, safety standards, and customer requirements.
