Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the Duncan, SC facility on the 2nd shift. Core hours are 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. Overtime may be required. The position offers an hourly rate of $28.00 per hour, including a $1.25 shift differential.

You will perform mid- to expert-level mechanical, electrical, and systems troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment per manuals and schematics. Strong problem solving and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree with technical focus or 3–5 years related experience.
• Experience in maintenance with mechanical/electrical systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid-to-expert level mechanical, electrical, and system troubleshooting.
• Carry out preventive maintenance per manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Identify parts, repair or replace defective components, and test equipment.
• Operate machining tools and welding tasks as needed.
• Follow safety policies and participate in continuous improvement activities.
