Job summary

Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is seeking a Maintenance Controls Technician - 2nd Shift in Roxboro, NC. The role pays $29.10 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential, with core hours 2:15pm – 10:45pm and robust benefits.

Candidate will perform grinding, sizing, assembly, inspections, and routine troubleshooting while adhering to LOTO and 5S practices. Opportunities for cross-training and career progression are available.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 year of Controls / PLC Experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Basic understanding of LOTO, completing training and testing with a passing grade.
• Confer with operations to observe, inspect machinery and determine root causes of malfunction while performing diagnostic checks.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to identify components and address wear on tooling, bearings, pumps, motors, seals.
• Advanced controls/electrical understanding to read test equipment and perform safe energy releases (LOTO).
• Open EHS event reports and ensure safety.
• Test-run repaired machinery to verify repairs.
