Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the 2nd Shift to keep plant production equipment running. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate repairs with maintenance staff and external partners.

The role emphasizes strong electrical/mechanical skills, ability to read schematics, and experience in a manufacturing setting. Training will occur on the 1st shift during an initial 4–8 week period with rate adjustments.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or related technical environment or a technical degree.
Strong troubleshooting experience with electrical and mechanical systems including PLCs, VFDs, pneumatics, hydraulics, servo motors, and refrigeration.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals; use testing instruments and maintain records.

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot plant production equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
Identify equipment failures and coordinate repairs with maintenance staff or external vendors.
Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment.
Assist with and perform preventive maintenance activities.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Plan maintenance projects, estimate material requirements, and assess repair costs.
