Job summary

AGC Bellefontaine, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to repair, maintain, and improve production and facility equipment. You will handle reactive and preventative maintenance, assist engineering with projects, and ensure safety and compliance while minimizing downtime.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years in manufacturing maintenance, and PLC/electrical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associates degree, Journeyman or related coursework preferred
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude
• PLC logic knowledge
• Ability to work full-time and overtime as required
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• 5S experience is necessary

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain and troubleshoot all production and facility equipment and systems (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC).
• Monitor utilities and production equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
• Perform welding and machining tasks.
• Assist engineering with projects.
• Respond to malfunctions and ground maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility and production systems as required.
• Operate power lift equipment and perform overhead work.
• Electrical troubleshooting.
• Support EHS&S activities and maintain a safe work environment.
• Other duties or projects as assigned.
